The job holder is accountable for the development and delivery of procurement strategies for key raw materials, 96 different products including Lime milk, Parafin, Glycerine Surfactants (Anionic + Nonionic + Fatty alcohols) Organic Peroxides, Plasticizers, Oleic Acids as well as FIBC/Big bag.  The jobholder is responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts to ensure the optimum balance between cost, supply performance and avoidance of business disruption is achieved.  

Jobholder will report to the Procurement Manager, Feedstocks and Raw Materials of Inovyn.

 

Your accountabilities :

  • Ensure selected suppliers meet SHE standards and requirements
  • Develop and deliver strategy to enable procurement of goods and services to meet business needs.

  • Manage internal and external interfaces
  • Chemicals and Raw Materials market expert

Required profile

Level of education & Experience in general

  • Graduate degree in commercial field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a leading procurement role in a European multi-sites company.
  • Good chemical market knowledge

 

Technical skill

  • Good communicator fluent in written and spoken English, appreciated other languages
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Contract / Competition Law knowledge and understanding
  • Capability to lead, direct and influence members of multifunctional teams in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Strong delivery/cost focus
