Purpose of the job : Lead and manage all Financial Reporting and Business Controlling activities for Belgium legal entities and sites, including three major production facilities (Jemeppe, Lillo, Zandvliet), the headquarters in Diegem, and the R&D Center in Jemeppe. Oversee financial operations for Inovyn Europe Limited within the PF1 SAP accounting system, covering multiple locations (Jemeppe, Lillo, Zandvliet, Martorell, Tavaux, and Rheinberg). Provide strategic support to the Belgium-Germany Cluster Manager by preparing and presenting monthly Finance KPIs and delivering financial expertise for selected projects.

Accountabilities : 

  • Responsible for timely submission of monthly Financial reporting in HFM by Day +5, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the figures.
  • Deliver monthly Controlling reporting (Management accounts) for publication in the BI tool by Day+5, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide monthly reporting to the Belgium-Germany cluster Manager, including Financial KPIs and analysis, such as EBITDA per product vs Budget, fixed costs monitoring, cost reduction tracking and Capex monitoring.
  • Prepare and publish the annual budget for all Belgium entities, covering fixed and variable costs within the agreed timelines.
  • Oversee financial audits for all Belgium entities.  Coordinate stock audits with Supply Chain, manpower-related matters with HR departments, respond to auditor inquiries, and participate in closing meetings to ensure a clean audit opinion.
  • Ensure full compliance with Belgian accounting, VAT, and tax regulations, as well as IFRS standards. Prepare and publish statutory accounts for all Belgian and Dutch entities within deadlines. Present annual financial results to the Works Council and uphold all legal obligations related to board meetings, Works Council sessions, shareholder meetings, and statutory filings.
  • Manage tax audits, including VAT and corporate income tax, and all  mandatory inquiries.

 

Required profile :

Education: Master’s degree in Finance required, or equivalent

Languages : proficiency in French / English / Dutch

Experience : Minimum of 15 Years in senior finance roles.

 

Technical skills

  • Finance & Accounting: In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting principles, Belgian law, and IFRS standards.
  • Legal & Tax: Strong understanding of Belgian company law and comprehensive expertise in all tax areas (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, social tax, energy tax, pollution tax, subsidies), including the ability to prepare tax declarations.
  • IT Proficiency: Advanced skills in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience with complex manufacturing cost structures and networks.
  • Analytical Ability: Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills for interpreting financial data and supporting strategic decisions.
